John Ruskin letters, 1855-1884.

The collection consists of ten letters, including: two to C.W. Cope, 28 May [1855] and 5 Feb, thanking him for his help; to Lewis, 14 May ca. 1855, with thanks for a recent visit he had enjoyed; to Rossetti, 11 Apr. 1857, with news and activities; a long letter to Norton, 4 Nov. 1860, with news, and comments about Rossetti, among others; to Ezekiel Jackson, 14 Jan. 1877, thanking him for news, asking him to pay every subscription, and asking about the garden; two letters to McKay, 17 Oct 1875 and 3 Sept. 1884, with publishing news and an offer to sell him a photograph. Also, to Mr. Chester, undated, about the formatting of something he had written; to My dear Sir (John Sparkes), 6 Mar., declining an invitation to take part in a public proceeding.
